The Columbus Day Parade NYC 2024 is America’s biggest celebration of Italian American culture. It strengthens the community and provides scholarships to promising Italian American students. Italian Americans are one of the communities that defines New York City.

The Columbus Day Parade is actually a series of events including a gala, wreath laying, mass, and the parade.
Gala
The 80th Columbus Day Parade NYC 2024 Gala is a black-tie evening with music, dancing, and Italian food at Cipriani 42nd St, in Midtown East, Manhattan; on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 6pm. From $1,500. 🇮🇹
The Gala is a great way to network with New York City’s Italian American community. It’s fun too, with drinks, dinner and dancing. Some very famous artists usually provide the entertainment. The funds raised support educational scholarships.
Honorees include:
- Michael T. Strianese (Grand Marshal), former Chairman and CEO of L3 Technologies, the aerospace and national security company.
- Carmine Di Sibio, former Chairman and CEO of EY (Ernst & Young)
- Vivian Cardia, former president of Vivicar.
Wreath Laying

The 80th Columbus Day Parade NYC 2024 Mass, is at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown East, Manhattan; on Columbus Day, Monday, October 14, 2024, at 9:30am. 🇮🇹
Parade
The 80th Columbus Day Parade NYC 2024 celebrates Italian-American culture with over 100 marching groups on Fifth Avenue, from 44th St in Midtown/Midtown East, to 72nd St in Central Park/Upper East Side; on Columbus Day, Monday, October 14, 2024, from 11:30am – 3:30pm. You can also watch it on WABC-7 at 12noon. 🇮🇹
Columbus Day Parade NYC
The Parade is organized by the Columbus Citizens Foundation. The Parade has provided over $40 million in scholarships to Italian Americans in high school and college. This really benefits New York’s Italian American community, and in fact, all New Yorkers.
