After a slow start in 2024, shortstop Francisco Linder pulled the team together and the Mets finished with a great postseason run, winning the National League East. They are having fun, and that seems to have made the difference. Good management, lots of spirit, and the acquisition of superstar outfielder Juan Soto, with the biggest professional sports contract ever, makes The Mets one of the baseball teams to watch in 2025.
