Arte de La Borinqueña is an exhibition of over 30 fine art prints of the Puerto Rican superhero drawn by different artists.
La Borinqueña is the Puerto Rican Superhero
La Borinqueña is the Puerto Rican superhero of the best-selling graphic novel created in 2016 by Edgardo Miranda Rodriguez.
It is also the anthem of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Borinquen is the Taíno Native American name for the island.
La Borinqueña is Marisol Rios De La Luz, a 22-year old New York Puerto Rican student at Columbia University. She can fly, has superhuman strength, can change the weather, and can teleport. She fights against social injustice.
Don’t we need her now!
