ALBA Musik celebrates the release of their second flamenco fusion album “ALMA;” at Drom, the world music club in Manhattan’s East Village; on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 6:30pm. From $20. 🇪🇸 🇦🇷 🇻🇪

Their first album “Dawn” made it to the first round of GRAMMY consideration for Latin pop.

Albert Alabedra is a guitarist and composer from Barcelona, Spain. 🇪🇸

Bárbara Martínez is a New Yorker who sings and dances Spanish flamenco, Brazilian bossa nova, and American jazz. She comes from a family of artists including Argentine tango singers/actresses Morenita Rey and Libertad Lamarque, Venezuelan sculptor Rafael Martínez and art historian Amelia Arenas. She is one of those free-spirited New Yorkers who is very talented, does many things, and does all of them well. We’ve watched Bárbara for many years. Her talent just keeps growing and growing. 🇦🇷 🇻🇪

“Alba” means “Dawn” in Spanish. Dawn represents hope and the triumph of light over darkness. That’s the feeling you get listening to ALBA. Their music is very uplifting. New York City life can be intense and sometimes you just need to lighten up a little. ALBA Musik is great for that. Their music just feels good.
