The National Puerto Rican Artisans and Authors Fair 2024 is a holiday market of Puerto Rican arts, crafts, and books made in Puerto Rico and across the Diaspora. The fair also offers family entertainment.
It’s four hours by plane to la Isla del Encanto, but you can get a little bit of Puerto Rico, right here in New York City. Thanks PRIDA!

The Fair is produced the Puerto Rican Institute of the Development of the Arts (PRIDA), and Comité Noviembre. PRIDA promotes Puerto Rican arts and culture. Comité Noviembre advocates for Puerto Ricans in New York, and promotes November as Puerto Rican Heritage Month.
We especially love the Santos de Palo, hand-carved wooden saints, and the vejigante masks, both the papier-mâché ones from Ponce, and the coconut ones from Loíza Aldea ~ la esencia de Puerto Rico.
This reminds us of the artisanal fairs on Sundays in Old San Juan.
