Farruko was an Instant Star
Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on May 2, 1991.
He broke out with his debut album “El Talento Del Bloque” in 2010 when he was 18 years old. His sophomore release “TMPR: The Most Powerful Rookie” (2012) was nominated for a “Best Urban Music Album” Latin Grammy. His song “6 AM” with J Balvin was nominated for “Best Urban Performance” and “Best Urban Song” at the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards. Farruko released “TrapxFicante” in 2017.
We love the way Farruko raps on the remix of Pedro Capo’s “Calma” from 2020. It won the Latin Grammy for “Best Urban Fusion/Performance.”
“Cvrbon Vrmor” (2024) takes a turn towards Latin Futurism. It’s about time someone did that.
