The 5th Nublu Jazz Festival at Nublu and Studio 151 from December 3-14, 2014 is a December festival of contemporary world jazz at one of New York City’s underground music venues.

The 5th Nublu Jazz Festival 2014 features 12 nights of jazz at two locations, the original Nublu and Nublu’s second venue Studio 151.

Studio 151 is a second Nublu venue near the original club. Studio 151 is a recording studio and event space at 151 Avenue C

The Nublu Jazz Festival closes at Nublu with Bloomdaddies at 9pm, Spank City at 10:30pm, and Chop & Quench at midnight. DJ Vladimir Radojicic keeps the floor moving.

The Nublu Jazz Festival at Studio 151 closes with Toni Kitanovski at 9pm, and Wlf Dorr Unit at 11pm. DJ Hardedge keeps the floor moving.

The Nublu Jazz Festival continues at Nublu with Leo Genovese at 9pm, Orlando Le Fleming at 10:30pm, and Love Trio at midnight. DJ Turmix keeps the floor moving.

The Nublu Jazz Festival at Studio 151 continues with the Charles Gayle Trio at 10pm, and Joe Hertenstein’s FutureDrone at midnight. DJ Quality Control keeps the floor moving.

Tonight’s Nublu lineup includes Will Butler at 8pm, Stuart Bogie Trio at 9pm, Matt Bauder’s Hearing Things at 10:30 and an opening night jam session led by Ilhan Ersahin.

Tonight’s Studio 151 lineup includes Eivind Opsvik Trio at 9pm followed by RJ Miller with DJ Unqanny.

Nublu Jazz Festival 2012


The Nublu Jazz Festival is a December festival of contemporary world jazz at one of New York’s underground music venues. Only some of it is Latin, but it’s all good. Wednesday is traditionally Brazilian night at Nublu. It’s a Bohemian place with a good vibe.
